Emad Bibawi is a global advisory and audit leader who builds trusted relationships with C-suite teams and boards, collaborating to identify key risks and opportunities for innovation and growth. As a Lead Partner at KPMG, he launched and grew multiple new practices that elevated the firm’s brand to compete and win in the internal audit, enterprise risk management and transformation advisory space. With experience living and working around the world, Emad easily adapts to new industries and cultures. He prides himself on building diverse, world-class teams that place people first.

During his career at KPMG, Emad held multiple leadership roles in the US and Europe while serving as a Global Lead Partner for key clients across a wide variety of industries. As the New York Advisory Market Leader, he led business development strategy to fuel double-digit advisory growth in the firm’s largest geographic market. He additionally facilitated new global business opportunities in high-growth markets as the Africa, France, and Middle East Corridor Leader.

Previously, Emad was a Partner at KPMG Switzerland, where he launched and led the fastest growing Advisory practice at the firm. As Partner-in-Charge of Internal Audit Risk and Compliance Services, he drove consistent double-digit growth and created a dedicated center to support international clients in SOX conversion and compliance. In addition to serving on the firm-wide Advisory leadership team, Emad also became COO for Internal Audit across Europe, supporting KPMG Switzerland’s integration into a new KPMG Europe organization. Calling this period transformational both personally and professionally, Emad opened his aperture to develop exceptional global communication, cultural, and collaboration skills as the youngest and most diverse Partner in the practice.
